PRODUCTION BEGINS FOR A NEW SUMMER-THEMED FANFIC CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE, "PROJECT SUMMER"
Production for an all new Fanfic Channel Original Movie, "Project Summer", has begun. Project Summer is the third movie that will be released his year among others. The film was written by Aaron Moon and Dean Leighton, and will be directed by Kelli Ybarra. The film is scheduled to premiere on June 2015, where it will premiere during Fanfic Channel's Summer Season, a month long event consisting of Summer-themed episodes to Fanfic Hit series.
Project Summer is a comedy film that follows best friends Max and Milo during their summer break from school. Max and Milo had a whole summer break planned during their trip to Hawaii for their best summer yet, but things do not go well as they have planned. Losing hope that their summer streak of awesomeness will be broken, the two try to make the best out of their vacation. But when a map to a supposed game of treasure hunt turns out to be a real one that leads to a long lost chest of gold on the island, Max and Milo gives the adventure all they have got as they encounter a trio willing to do anything to get to the treasure first.
Project Summer has began filming on location in Hawaii. Aulani resort will be the main filming location for the film. Filming is expected to last until the last week of February. The film holds the title for the highest budget for a Fanfic Channel Original Film, with $22 million of budget.
The film stars Dylan Sprayberry ("Teen Wolf") as Max and Connor Jessup ("Falling Skies") as Milo. The film also stars Ariel Winter ("Modern Family"), Malese Jow ("Star-Crossed"), Alexander Ludwig ("Secret Life"), B.J. Novak ("Saving Mr. Banks"), Tommy Savas ("State of Affaris") and Missi Pyle ("Gone Girl").
The film will be released with a TV-14 rating on Fanfic Channel.
